Our kids!

BEN TURNED 15 ON SEPTEMBER 8
Can you believe our oldest boy is 15 already. Time sure does go too fast.
Our family celebration!
 What a good lookin' kid!
The famous 5 layer Chocolate Chip Cookie cake! The kids always seem to request this one. Delicious!
The Cousins hanging out. Even the little ones want to play XBox!

All the kids started school last week! What a change for Ben!  He has to leave the house at 6:50am to get to school. I think the first few days were tough, but he is getting used to it. He really likes his classes and is keeping busy with the Varsity Tennis team!  He is 4-0 and his Tennis team is also 4-0! Great start to the season!

Hannah was sad that she didn't get any friends in her classes at first, but now with her vibrant personality she is making friends left and right! She seems to like her schedule and she is keeping busy with Tennis twice a week and soccer three times a week.  She tells us she LOVES soccer and wishes she could play 24/7!
Kids first day of School! Ben leaves too early to get a photo - But Hannah looks great!

Ashton was very excited to go back to school!  He started a week after Ben and Hannah. He has only gone one day so far, but he was having so much fun.
His Best friend wasn't there that day and he put his coat tag right by his coat tag and said "Cooper is my best friend". It was so adorable. He can not wait to go to school together with Cooper on Monday!

Lookin' so big!

He thought something in the story was really funny!
That next day we pretended to have our own little classroom and he tried to trace his letters. He did really well. Sometimes he would start at the wrong end of a letter, or do silly different things - but for his first time, he was great!

The Special Day Arrived! Ashton and his Trains. Ben and highschool tennis!

Today was a special day for Ashton! He has been waiting since July 17th to watch the new Thomas the Train movie "Day of the Diesels"!   He watches the Movie trailer on YouTube almost every other day, and he can recite it word for word while watching the preview.  Such a funny little boy! He even wore his special Ashton 10 Day of the Diesel shirt today! (For those of you who do not know Diesel 10 is a train in the movie. An Evil train that Ashton likes....hmmm....should we worry?)

He was so excited to buy it at Toys R US today.  Lucky for us they had only 2 left!  They kept trying to tell me it doesn't come out today. They finally looked in their stock room!  Yeah!! They had it!
Ashton watching his show!

BENNY!  No photos today. I couldn't go to his away match, but he played in his first Jackson Highschool Varsity tennis match at Woodinville High.  He won in the Singles #2!  We are so happy for him. He is very excited to start his first day at school tomorrow with a big win under him! GO BEN!

Ashton's 3rd Birthday

A little late - but worth the wait!

Our little Ashton turned 3 on August 29th!    The most memorable thing for me about his party will be the melted cake.  It was such a hot day and when we took the cake out of the box, the frosting was melting right off of it.  Ashton didn't notice and he still loved it!

He loved his present time! This year he totally understood the present process.  He was very excited to open and was good at saying thank you to whomever gave him the gift.

After everyone left he played with every birthday toy he received! It was hard to get him to bed that night.
The next day for his "real" birthday he woke up and wanted to play "RockBand" with Hannah.

So excited to get a Lightning McQueen shirt!

We were excited to give Ashton this gift.  He loves Trains so much we thought we would incorporate some cars into his play world.  This is a Tomica toy brand that has a fast battery operated train and then hot wheel style cars you play with.  All the kids liked it.  It seems to be loud at times, but Mark and I find ourselves enjoying this toy too!
