Ashton and Ben's Birthday!

Ashton saved his Birthday hat from school when they celebrated his 1/2 birthday. 

Ashton had a great Birthday on August 29th! He woke up and we had his favorite breakfast. Mini-M&M's pancakes and a donut. We normally make him put on a shirt for breakfast, but since it was his birthday we said it was fine. Of course some of the donut wound up on his body, and we had to tell him that was why we prefer a shirt at the table.

I made some Cake pops for his friends at the bowling party.

We decided to have Ashton's Friend party that evening. We invited 4 of his friends and then their families because we wanted to bowl too. It was a lot of fun!

Including our family there were 18 of us bowling. We took up 4 lanes and had a blast!

The next day a package arrived with Ashton's name on it!

 Today we celebrated Ben and Ashton's party with the family.

Happy Birthday! Ben wanted a Strawberry shortcake for his birthday this year and Ashton wanted the same cake that Daddy has on his birthday! I also made the cookie cake this year, but decided to make it larger with only 2 layers.

Wow! Ben keeps going and going! 

Of course we have to have bacon at Ben's parties!  Brian and Cynthia's wedding started this tradition for Ben.  After attending their wedding and seeing plates of bacon, that is what he loves at his parties!  I swear my dad had tons. I told him not to blame me if those arteries get a bit clogged down today. He says "once a year...once a year..." We had Peppered Bacon, Original Bacon, Habanero bacon and Candied Bacon (still in the oven during this photo shoot)

Ashton loves getting money! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!
