Hannah's Tennis Season Started

Well, I never did get to the part two of our CA trip.  I did add a couple photos of Federer and called it good.

The week started to get busy with Hannah and her Tennis season.  Spring is a tough time for outdoor tennis in Washington, because you never know what the weather will be like from the morning to the afternoon. Will the courts be dried by 3:30pm if it rained that morning?  Will it be hailing or windy? Will it start to rain during your match, but you have to play until it gets slippery?  Will the wind blow your balls every which way?  Yes, yes AND yes!   You name it and it happened all this past two
weeks.

Hannah has had three matches and has played great through all of the outdoor elements.  I do not think she has had one match that wasn't windy and cold yet.

Hannah made Varsity as a freshman! That was exciting! Both her and another 9th grade friend made Varsity.  Hannah plays in the #4 varsity singles court.  The top 4 singles court are all from Columbia Athletic Club. It has been great to see all those girls together!  Jackson High school is undefeated so far. It is early in the season, but it is looking good for them.  Their second match was against Kamiak, and they haven't beaten that team for years.  Hannah's court was the deciding factor because they have to win 4 out of 7 courts.  Kamiak is strong in their singles 1-3, but singles #4 and doubles were no match for our Jackson girls!  Go Hannah and Go Jackson Girls Tennis!

Ashton gets a lot of attention at Hannah's matches!  All the girls love him!

(Hannah lost this one, but played a great 3 sets!)
